082 - Siri

Siri in iOS 27 beta 6 can now search across Files, Messages, Photos, and Notes. I tested it on my real data: my Obsidian vault, old notes, message history, and photos. Some of it worked shockingly well. Some of it did not.

The most interesting finding: because my Obsidian vault lives in iCloud Drive (not Obsidian Sync), Siri can search all of it, semantically, with zero setup. If you build your personal knowledge management around plain files, this changes what your notes can do.
