074 - Casio Exilim EX-Z500

I dug out my old Casio Exilim EX-Z500 from my parents' house two Christmases ago and I've been carrying it around ever since. It's a bad camera. The flash blinds people. The photos are low resolution. Modern SD cards don't even fit.

I love it more than my iPhone camera and this video is me trying to explain why.

The short version: when everyone at a party is shooting on their phone, half of them disappear into notifications and editing. Hand them a 2005 point and shoot and they just take pictures.

If you have an old camera sitting in a drawer somewhere, go get it. Charge it. Use it at night with the flash on. Let me know what you shoot.
